Support Small Welsh Businesses | Part 3

Hi guys! I’m back again for another edition of the Support Small Welsh Businesses series. You all seem to be enjoying the series as much as I’d hoped, and the overwhelming support has been very much appreciated. Once again, if I’ve missed any of your favourite small businesses in this post please post your recommendations below and I’ll be sure to check them out!

*Hanmade Wales

Hannah began making and selling resin accessories earlier this year from her home in Mid West Wales. She sells everything from earrings and keyrings to coasters and other personalised accessories! She also happens to be a good friend of mine and I love watching her business go from strength to strength.

*Lauren Kate Design Co.

Lauren Kate produces sustainable, ethical, and inclusive clothing which she sells through her Etsy store. Each piece is made to a high standard and are timelessly on-trend pieces that you’ll want to wear again and again.

*Ally Illustrates

Alice makes beautiful illustrations and paintings from her home in Newport, South Wales. As well as art prints and original pieces she also produces custom work such as pet portraits – the perfect personal touch for a Christmas gift!

Calon Candles

Calon Candles produce luxury candles and home fragrances. Founded by Julia, they have a wide variety of candles, wax melts, and gift sets. They even offer a personalization service where you can add a unique personal touch to the lid of your candle!

Clai Gan Ffion

Ffion makes uniquely crafted ceramic earrings, trinket trays, and more. Her pieces have a beautifully bold harmony of colours and are the perfect way to add a pop of colour to an outfit! Simply DM her on Instagram to make an order.

*Chw Inc

If you’re a fan of Welsh language graphic prints, look no further! Chw Inc has a huge array of funny and quirky prints that would bring a smile to anyone’s face instantly. All prints are available on their Etsy store, and you can browse through their Instagram for inspiration.

Clecs

Clecs produce ethical and organic Welsh language clothing for all. I’m particularly drawn to their ‘hapus’ beanies, which translates to ‘happy’ in English. You can also find jumpers, t-shirts, tote bags, and water bottles on their website!

Blodau Bae

Looking for dried flowers delivered through your letterbox? Blodau Bae has you covered. Based in the Cardiff bay area, Blodau Bae offers a variety of beautiful seasonal bouquets in addition to Christmas accessories which will be coming soon to their website. *Crefftarian

Made in North Wales, Crefftarian produces handmade statement jewellery. Simplicity is at the core of their sophisticated pieces, and they have everything from rings to necklaces and bracelets.

*The Pretty Craft Co. 

Whether you’re looking for aromatherapy candles, personalised jewelry, or handmade soaps and wax melts… The Pretty Craft Co. does it all! I’m a huge fan of the stamped stainless steel arm cuffs, they’d made such a sweet gift for Christmas or any other special occasion.

Natur

Natur or ‘nature’ skincare are a Llangeitho based business who sell salt scrubs, masks, and even sleep sprays. Their products are natural, sustainable, and they even offer refills of your favourites! That’s what I call a planet positive business.

Lima-Lima

Based in South Wales, Lima-Lima produce mindful jewelry for the modern individual. Their materials are sourced as ethically and sustainably as possible, using eco silver and ethically mined gems in their pieces.

Draenog Design

Answen has been creating Welsh language cards and handmade accessories since 2010. In addition to cards, she also has a range of masks, jumpers, and home decorations available.

Pethau Bychain

Pethau Bychain sell handmade accessories that are uniquely made to order. Their intricate designs are simple, yet elegant and eye catching.

*Caz Draws Things

Caz makes hand drawn gifts and accessories, and is a supporter of the Just a Card campaign. There’s a series of whimsical cards to choose from for every occasion!

Crefftau Bach Catrin

Catrin is a Swansea-based crafter who specialises in handmade earrings. Her designs are vibrant and unique, and currently has discounted offers for stud earrings (3 pairs for £10, or 6 pairs for £20).
